Hello Members and Friends of the Association,
We have received word that Barry ‘Bud’ Exum may be nearing the end. Bud reportedly has not eaten in a few days and hospice has begun their ‘peaceful passage’ measures. Here is one such guide: https://www.nia.nih.gov/
The spokesperson was not able to awaken Bud today and his breathing is labored. They appear to be keeping his pain under control.
As you may recall, Bud has suffered hardships in the recent past, such as the sudden unexpected passing of his wife, Sandy, after a short illness. Bud himself has been in and of home hospice since 2023. And, as you may recall, the Exums lost their son Cossie in July 2021 at age 29.
We offer our thoughts and prayers to Bud and his loved ones.
