Warriors Renewal Coalition provides an all expense paid Florida Rest & Reset experience in a stress-free, welcoming environment. Renewal Coalition, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, offers post 9/11 Combat Injured or Ill Service Members an opportunity to spend some time with other veterans through an all expense paid Rest & Reset experience in Jupiter, Florida.
All veterans will be in shared housing with their own private room. We have a beautiful house along the Loxahatchee River with a pool, game lounge, kayak launch & dock for fishing. Pact Act

July 21, 2023

Hello Members and Friends of the Association,

Just in case you’re not aware, the links below outline how to notify the VA of your intent to file a PACT Act claim so you may receive retroactive benefits back to August 10, 2022.

The PACT Act is a new law that expands VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances.

The PACT Act adds to the list of health conditions that we assume (or “presume”) are caused by exposure to these substances. This law helps us provide generations of Veterans—and their survivors—with the care and benefits they’ve earned and deserve.

There’s no deadline to apply for PACT Act benefits. But if you file your PACT Act claim—or quickly submit your intent to file—by August 9, 2023, you may receive benefits backdated to August 10, 2022. So don’t wait, apply today.

1208 Foundation

The 1208 Foundation has been busy as usual, but this update is short and sweet.

June was a huge month for us: the 1208 Foundation took lead in bringing 47 people to the United States! This is an incredible achievement, and the credit goes to a literal squad of our Afghan allies, and “Dave”, my quieter, less combative Green Beret counterpart. 1208 currently has seven Afghan nationals on staff assisting on a full or part-time basis. For now, we are keeping their identities concealed out of an abundance of caution, but hopefully one day soon we can give them the public recognition that they deserve.

With the SIV program bogged down and inefficient, getting 47people out of Afghanistan is an incredible validation of everything we have been doing for the last two years.

June was huge, but August will give it a run for its money:

On August 15th, at Georgetown University, 1208, alongside our NGO counterparts at the Moral Compass Federation will be hosting what might very well be the biggest Afghanistan-centric event of the year.

We’ve reserved Gaston Hall -the same venue used to host Presidents and foreign leaders- and speakers for the event include LTG John Mulholland, Ambassador Ronald Neumann, and Jack McCain. Sami Sadat and Ali Maisam Nazary will also be making appearances, as are several prominent members of the NGO, veteran, and Afghan communities. In addition, a short documentary featuring our organization will be screened an hour before the main event.

This is going to be a good one: I hope to see you there!
