We have lost another one of our Special Forces brothers!

WILLIAM “BRUCE” MOSELEY OBITUARY

William Bruce Moseley, 82, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at his home in Bryceville, surrounded by his family.  Mr. Moseley was a native of Jacksonville and a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, C/O 1958 and Florida Community College of Jacksonville. He retired from JEA after 35 years working as a substation supervisor and was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. Mr. Moseley was a Retired Veteran of the US Army and Florida National Guard, serving 26 years to include during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.  He is survived by his wife: Lynda Moseley; 2 children: Joe Moseley (Chrissy) and Margaret Howell (Todd); 2 sisters: Linda Knowles (Sid) and Diane Maybury; brother: Dick Moseley; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, 124 W. Ashley Street, with Pastor Steve Clifton and Reverend Terry Yerby officiating.  Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery (Lane #1) with Military Honors.  Peeples Family Funeral Home is serving the Moseley Family.

Joseph Moseley, Bruce’s son, has requested and encourages attendee’s to wear their Green Berets!
